budget widgets · payday to payday
know what you can spend.
before you spend it.
Centa puts one number on your home screen: what you can safely spend today. It starts from the money you have, sets aside the bills due before payday and what you are saving, and spreads the rest over the days until you are paid again. Add a coffee or a bus ride with one tap on the widget, without opening the app. Any currency.
One price, every feature included. No subscription, no ads, no account, and no data leaves your phone.

why centa
Most trackers record and analyse. Centa decides, then you spend, then it learns.
Safe to spend today
Cash minus bills, minus what you have promised to your savings, spread across the days to payday. Recalculated every time you add an expense.
Widgets that do the work
Tap "Coffee $5" on the home screen and it is done. Six widgets: Safe to Spend, Quick Add, Add Expense, Upcoming, Budgets and Savings. No unlock, no open, no typing.
Payday is the unit of time
Paid monthly, every two weeks, twice a month or weekly? Budgets run from one payday to the next, not from the 1st of the month. A day strip on the widget shows where you are.
Offline. No account.
Your ledger is a file on your phone. Back it up with a passphrase. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing for us to see.
Money weather
A single green, amber or red dot tells you if the period is on track, from your pace, your bills and your budgets.
Any currency
Dollars, euros, pounds, yen, pesos, rupees and 40 more, written the way your country writes numbers. It starts from your phone's region; change it any time.
how it works
Ninety seconds to set up, then live on the home screen.
Say when you get paid

questions
Short answers.
Does Centa connect to my bank?
No. You log spending yourself, mostly from the widget. That is the point: one tap at the moment you spend, instead of a bank feed you check once a week.
How much does it cost?
One price, paid once in the App Store or Google Play. Every feature is included: all six widgets, unlimited budgets and savings goals, encrypted backup and spreadsheet export. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.
Which currencies?
Almost any: dollars, euros, pounds, yen, pesos, rupees and 40 more, written the way your country writes numbers. Centa picks one from your phone's region the first time you open it; you can change it in Settings.
Which phones does it support?
iPhone with iOS 17 or later, and Android 8 or later. Home screen widgets on both; Lock Screen widgets on iPhone.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your data is only on the phone unless you exported a backup. Export one from Settings, encrypted with a passphrase only you know, and keep it in your files or drive.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall the app, or clear its data in your phone settings. There is no account, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. More on deleting data.
